2009

Dapp was born from ideas at the kitchen table until its found­ing in 2009. The name Dapp stems from Dif­fer­ent Ap­proach, which for us meant that as a project com­pa­ny we want­ed to take care of our clients' project man­age­ment, from A to Z. We no­ticed that it was not un­usu­al for food fac­to­ries to leave the en­gi­neer­ing and sup­ply of lo­gis­ti­cal-tech­ni­cal in­vest­ments and the as­so­ci­at­ed project man­age­ment to the sup­pli­ers con­cerned. In prac­tice, how­ev­er, and as far as we are con­cerned com­plete­ly log­i­cal, the sup­pli­er or­ga­nizes only his part and not the in­te­gral project man­age­ment. This is the core of why Dapp was found­ed: we want to pro­vide in­te­gral project man­age­ment, not only for the client, but also on be­half of the client. The same is still true today.

2015

In 2015, Dapp set the course for the next five years. What are we going to focus on specif­i­cal­ly? What will our ser­vice pro­vi­sion look like? And how are we going to or­ga­nize that? From that mo­ment on, Dapp has made a growth spurt, re­sult­ing in an or­ga­ni­za­tion of be­tween 25 and 30 pro­fes­sion­als that has re­al­ized many lo­gis­tics-tech­ni­cal projects for fac­to­ries in the food in­dus­try on a daily basis. We have been able to demon­strate our core com­pe­ten­cy of re­al­iza­tion power at many fac­to­ries, large and small.

Present

In ad­di­tion to project man­age­ment, in re­cent years Dapp has in­creas­ing­ly fo­cused on the 'front end' of projects. Think­ing along with clients and trans­lat­ing ideas into con­crete so­lu­tions and mak­ing them tan­gi­ble pro­vides a lot of mu­tu­al en­er­gy and added value in the pre-project phase. Look­ing at plants in an in­te­gral way, know­ing what the prob­lems are and pro­vid­ing so­lu­tions based on facts and using in­no­va­tive meth­ods and tech­niques can make (fu­ture) de­ci­sions in the pre-project phase a lot eas­i­er and thus speed up de­ci­sions. The es­tab­lish­ment of Dapp Con­sult­ing with our own In­dus­tri­al En­gi­neers is a fact.

2022+

We have de­signed a num­ber of new ser­vices that pro­vide in­sight and thus an­swers to ques­tions about how to en­able the ef­fi­cien­cy and growth of fac­to­ries.

In the com­ing years, we will con­tin­ue to or­ga­nize ex­ec­u­tive project man­age­ment for and on be­half of cus­tomers. In ad­di­tion, we will focus on in­dus­tri­al en­gi­neer­ing and con­sul­tan­cy by fur­ther grow­ing and de­vel­op­ing and of­fer­ing 'dig­i­tal' ser­vices (such as 2D As-Built draw­ings, 3D scan­ning, data anal­y­sis, al­go­rith­mic mod­el­ing, sim­u­la­tion and para­met­ric de­sign) with which we in­crease the in­sight of the cur­rent fac­to­ry and the fac­to­ry of the fu­ture. Our mis­sion is to pro­vide in­sight and move­ment in fac­to­ries.
