About us
2009
Dapp was born from ideas at the kitchen table until its founding in 2009. The name Dapp stems from Different Approach, which for us meant that as a project company we wanted to take care of our clients' project management, from A to Z. We noticed that it was not unusual for food factories to leave the engineering and supply of logistical-technical investments and the associated project management to the suppliers concerned. In practice, however, and as far as we are concerned completely logical, the supplier organizes only his part and not the integral project management. This is the core of why Dapp was founded: we want to provide integral project management, not only for the client, but also on behalf of the client. The same is still true today.
2015
In 2015, Dapp set the course for the next five years. What are we going to focus on specifically? What will our service provision look like? And how are we going to organize that? From that moment on, Dapp has made a growth spurt, resulting in an organization of between 25 and 30 professionals that has realized many logistics-technical projects for factories in the food industry on a daily basis. We have been able to demonstrate our core competency of realization power at many factories, large and small.
Present
In addition to project management, in recent years Dapp has increasingly focused on the 'front end' of projects. Thinking along with clients and translating ideas into concrete solutions and making them tangible provides a lot of mutual energy and added value in the pre-project phase. Looking at plants in an integral way, knowing what the problems are and providing solutions based on facts and using innovative methods and techniques can make (future) decisions in the pre-project phase a lot easier and thus speed up decisions. The establishment of Dapp Consulting with our own Industrial Engineers is a fact.
2022+
We have designed a number of new services that provide insight and thus answers to questions about how to enable the efficiency and growth of factories.
In the coming years, we will continue to organize executive project management for and on behalf of customers. In addition, we will focus on industrial engineering and consultancy by further growing and developing and offering 'digital' services (such as 2D As-Built drawings, 3D scanning, data analysis, algorithmic modeling, simulation and parametric design) with which we increase the insight of the current factory and the factory of the future. Our mission is to provide insight and movement in factories.
